Tigers in Fourth with One Day Left at NCAC Championships

Granville, Ohio - Through three days of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, DePauw has totaled 714.5 points and is in fourth place. Kenyon heads to the final day of competition with 1,252 points, while Denison is second with 1,171 and Wooster is third with 737.5.

The Tigers' 200-yard medley relay of Allison Lund, Olivia Neff, Ash Dapore and Maggie Wagenbrenner was fourth in 1:49.08 after a prelim time of 1:49.05.

Mary Woods turned in a seventh-place performance in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.45) and was 10th in the 100 butterfly (57.44). Ali Tallen was seventh in the 100 backstroke (58.84/58.20 prelims) and 15th in the 100 fly (58.85).

Jeanne Cullen led the Tigers in the 400 individual medley with a ninth-place finish (4:45.72), while Kaitlyn Gardner was 15th (4:58.55) and Val Dowd 16th (5:06.51/5:05.66 prelims).

Four Tigers finished in the top 18 of the 200 free paced by Neff in ninth (1:57.83/1:56.75 prelims), Rachel Graves 11th (1:57.17), Ash Dapore 14th (1:59.70) and Wagenbrenner 18th (2:01.79/2:01.68 prelims).

In addition to Tallen's finish in the 100 back, Lund was 13th (1:00.21/59.97 prelims), followed by Julia Keller in 14th (1:00.57), Maria Herrera in 15th (1:01.33/1:01.08 prelims) and Marihelen Gallagher in 17th (1:02.63/1:01.97).

Tomorrow's final day of competition gets underway at 10 a.m. with the prelims.
