Eleventh-Ranked Tigers Top Bishops

Delaware, Ohio - With eight first-place finishes, 11th-ranked DePauw moved to 1-2 in dual meets on the season after topping Ohio Wesleyan, 114-86.

Caroline Bridges and Angela Newlon were double winners for the Tigers as Bridges touched first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.81) and the 100 free (55.18) and Newlon did the same in the 100 butterfly (59.39) and the 500 free (5:00.36).

Ellen Riehle won the 50 free in 26.13, while Kirsten Olson took first in the 100 individual medley (1:03.86) and Annie Graves did the same in the 100 backstroke (1:04.12).

The Tigers' 200 medley relay of Graves, Mary Woods, Newlon and Erin Horne won in 1:53.59. Swimming exhibition, the 200 free relay of Bridges, Riehle, Olson and Woods finished in 1:42.42.

DePauw returns to action at third-ranked Denison tomorrow at 1 p.m.
