DePauw Wins 16 Events and Takes Woehnker Invitational Title

Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw won 16 events and totaled 963 points to win the Patrick Woehnker Invitational hosted by Wabash College. Hope was second with 643 and Maryville (Mo.) third with 200.

Caroline Bridges was a triple-winner for the Tigers as she touched first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.18), 200 free (1:57.35) and the 100 free (54.78).

Angela Newlon won a pair of events including the 500 free (5:00.40) and the 1650 free in a school-record 17:11.28.

Also collecting two wins apiece were Kirsten Olson in the 200 individual medley (2:14.28) and 200 backstroke (2:10.01) and Mary Woods in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.80) and the 200 breast (2:33.34).

Morgan Graves collected a first in the 100 butterfly (1:02.25) as did Annie Graves in the 100 back (1:00.14).

DePauw claimed firsts in all five relays as Bridges, Erin Horne, Olson and Woods won the 200 free relay in 1:41.39, while Annie Graves, Woods, Newlon and Bridges took first in the 400 medley relay.

Annie Graves, Woods, Newlon and Bridges won the 200 medley relay (1:51.92) as did Newlon, Olson, Horne and Woods in the 800 free relay (7:58.36) and Newlon, Olson, Horne and Woods in the 400 free relay (3:41.89).

DePauw returns to action December 3-5 at Kenyon's Total Performance Invitational.
