Wooster's Three-Goal Second Half Sinks Tigers

Wooster, Ohio -- DePauw scored early but could not answer three second half goals by Wooster in a 3-1 loss on Saturday.

Freshman Mary Goodale got in front of the net and scored her first collegiate goal at 6:17. Alex Berkley was on the assist.

DePauw held that lead through halftime until Wooster tied it in the 53rd minute with a goal by Krenare Rakoci. Wooster's Kelsey Hall then scored at 61:58 with a header and at 69:11 to put the game away.

Wooster outshot the Tigers 14-1. Goalie Mia Manney made seven saves in taking the loss.

DePauw drops to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in the NCAC. Wooster improves to 4-2-2 and 1-0 in the conference.

The Tigers return home on Wednesday for a non-conference game against Illinois Wesleyan.
