Tigers Take Road Win at Hiram

Hiram, Ohio – The DePauw women's soccer team shutout Hiram 3-0 on Saturday in a North Coast Athletic Conference matchup.

DePauw broke the 0-0 tie in the 38th minute when Bridget Brendza scored a header off an assist from Gail Enright as DePauw took a 1-0 lead into halftime. It was Brendza's first goal of the season.

In the second half, Kathryn Ruark scored on an open goal in the 57th minute thanks to an assist from Ali Grimm, before Grimm scored in the 60th minute via an assist from Kathryn Ruark. Ruark has six goals now on the year, and Grimm has two.

Riley Riordan made six saves in the win. DePauw outshot Hiram 19-14, and both teams took six corner kicks.

DePauw moves to 6-4-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. They travel to Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday.
