Seewer's Late Goal Lifts DePauw to NCAC Road Win

Delaware, Ohio - Elizabeth Seewer's goal with just 3:26 left in regulation lifted DePauw to a 3-2 North Coast Athletic Conference victory at Ohio Wesleyan. The Tigers improved to 3-6-2 overall and 1-1-2 in the NCAC, while the Battling Bishops dropped to 1-9-2 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

Seewer's shot from the right side sailed through the left side of the goal and was her third score of the season.

Ohio Wesleyan's Sarah Stachowiak gave the hosts a 1-0 lead at 22:31 and that lead held until 62:14 when DePauw scored on an Ohio Wesleyan own goal.

Chloe Jacob put the Tigers in front on Caroline Zadina's assist. The Bishops knotted the score at 81:32 as Elisabeth D'Amelio knocked in a deep shot.

Sarah Cho recorded one save in picking up the win in goal for DePauw, while the Battling Bishops' Kenzie Howell totaled four saves.

DePauw held a 13-9 advantage in shots including a 7-3 margin in shots on goal. The Tigers also led in corner kicks, 4-1, and were whistled for 13 fouls to Ohio Wesleyan's 11.
