Senior Taylor Summers (Cambridge, Md.) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week after leading the Tigers to a 3-0 week and a program-best 5-2 start to the season.
For the week, Summers tallied 17 points on eight goals and nine assists. She also caused two turnovers, had two draw controls and fielded eight ground balls.
In a 25-4 NCAC win over Hiram Summers scored four goals and tied a school record with six assists for 10 points. She tallied two goals and two assists in a 20-13 win over Birmingham Southern and added two goals and an assist in a 9-7 win over Sewanee.
On the year, Summers leads the team with 32 points. She is second with 15 goals and 17 assists.
The Tigers continue NCAC play Saturday when they host Kenyon.
