Indiana Tech Wins Dan Quayle Collegiate Golf Classic; Tigers Finish Third

Clayton, Ind. - In the closest finish in tournament history, Indiana Tech shot a tournament-record 618 and won the Dan Quayle Collegiate Golf Classic by one stroke over Wittenberg at Deer Creek Golf Club. DePauw was third at 632. Jane Hopkinson-Wood of Wittenberg was the medalist with a tournament-record 143.

Larisa Luloff paced DePauw with a 151 to tie for fifth. Luloff paced DePauw today with a one-under, 71. Rachele Miller placed ninth with a 155 including today's 77 and also earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

Anna Foley and Danielle Smith each shot 163 and Sheinnera Gerongay rounded out the lineup with a 177.

Playing as individuals, Kenzlie Westerfield shot a 162 and Frankie Bell finished with a 166.

The tournament also featured hole-in-ones from Kelli Fisher of Wittenberg and Ali Miller of Centre.

DePauw returns to action on September 24-25 at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic.
