Adrian, Mich. - DePauw led by just four at halftime, but outscored host Adrian, 46-24, in the second half on the way to a 68-42 win in the season opener for both schools.
The Tigers built a nine-point lead in the second quarter before the Knights battled back to trail 22-18 at the half.
Adrian was still within five in the third quarter at 28-23 before the Tigers rattled off five straight at the start of a 17-3 run to take a 45-26 advantage as the teams headed to the fourth.
DePauw opened the final quarter with a 10-2 stretch to push the lead to 27.
Lex Gaumer led the Tigers with four assists and Claire Ryan added three assists.
Marissa Cotton scored a team-high 12 for Adrian with Antoinea McElory adding 10. McElroy led with seven rebounds.
DePauw shot 48.3 percent from the floor to Adrian's 26.5. The Tigers also held a 48-32 edge on the boards.
The Tigers travel to Wilmington College on November 20 where they will face Franklin in the opening day of the Fred Raizk Memorial Tournament.
