Freshman Becca St. Germain (Plainfield, Ill.) recently earned her first North Coast Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week honor.
The catcher started her collegiate career by posting a .542 (13-of-24) batting average, and by hitting safely in her first seven games played. She scored six runs, 11 RBI and produced an .833 slugging percentage.
The Tigers are 3-1 in St. Germain's four multi-hit games. She has also produced four doubles and has drawn two walks, only striking out once.
The Tigers are 4-4 on the year and return to action when they host their own tournament on the weekend of March 16 at Grand Park (Westfield, Ind.).
