Firsts in Discus and 4 x 400 Relay Lead Tigers to Fifth at NCAC Championships

Greencastle, Ind. - Paced by a pair of firsts, DePauw totaled 73 points and finished fifth at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Blackstock Stadium. Wabash won the title with 196 points, while Ohio Wesleyan was second with 177.

Demarco Henry started the day with a win in the discus at 45.90m/150-7 and the Tigers' 4 x 400 relay of Luke Patty, Dante Stewart, Johnny Miller and Jordan Booker won in 3:19.81.

Booker, who posted the top time in the 400 meters in Friday's prelims, was second in the finals in 49.45 seconds.

The Tigers picked up seven points in the 5,000 meters with Paul Christian placing fourth (15:43.66) and Zach Batt placing seventh (15:58.56). Batt was also sixth in the 1,500 meters (4:10.28).

DePauw's 4 x 100 relay of Mohamed Gborie, Dante Stewart, Luke Patty and Chase Wright was fifth (43.71). Gborie was fifth in the 200 meters (22.80) and Wright was seventh in the 100 meters (11.09).
