Distance Medley Relay Title Leads Tigers on Opening Day of NCAC Championships

Oberlin, Ohio - Paced by a championship by the distance medley relay, DePauw is tied for sixth with 23 points after the first of two days of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.

The relay of Cole Martin, Dante Stewart, Alex Rossebo and Zach Batt crossed first in 10:27.45.

The Tigers picked up six points in the weight throw as Andrew Saunders was fifth (14.76m/48-5.25) and Nate Baker seventh (14.59m/47-10.5).

Jordan Booker was sixth in the high jump (1.79 m/5-10.5), while Tyler Nemeth placed seventh in the pole vault (3.85m/12-7.5) and Kyle Munz did the same in the 5,000 meters (15:40.08).

Booker also qualified in two of Saturday's finals after posting the top time in the 400 (50.26) and the sixth in the 200 (23.07). Dante Stewart was fourth in the 400 (50.84) and Chase Wright eighth in the 60.
