Another Tie in the Cards for the Tigers

Meadville, Pa. -- DePauw played to their third consecutive tie on Saturday in a 2-2 final with Allegheny in NCAC play.

The Tigers are now 4-4-4 overall and 1-1-3 in conference. Allegheny is 3-9-1 and 0-4-1.

All four goals of the game came within six minutes of one another in the first half.

Allegheny totaled the first two back-to-back at 11:35 and 11:57. Matt Massucci and Bryce Evans were credited with goals inside the box.

DePauw answered at 15:38 and 17:32. Jay Klein scored from in the box to the far side, and Peter White scored from close after receiving an assist from Klein.

It was goal number two for both Klein and White on the year.

DePauw outshot Allegheny 14-12 and took nine corner kicks to their two. Austin Bodner made four saves to move his record to 1-1-3.

The Tigers will travel to Wittenberg on Tuesday.
