Late Goal Sends Tigers to NCAC Loss

The DePauw men's soccer team lost to Hiram on Saturday 2-1 after a goal in the 80th minute ultimately decided the outcome.

DePauw could not sustain a lead they obtained early on in the first 1:52 as Hiram tied the game in the 33rd minute before taking the lead for good with 10 minutes remaining.

DePauw's goal came via Peter White who scored off a cross from Julian Gonzalez. Hiram scored on a header in the 33rd minute and took a deflection in the 80th minute for the game winner.

Harrison Glover made three saves in the loss. DePauw outshot Hiram 12-8 and took four corners to Hiram's three. 

DePauw falls to 6-3-2 overall and 1-2 in the NCAC and will return to action Tuesday when they host Wittenberg.
