Tigers Dominate Grizzlies in 4-0 Victory

Franklin, Ind. – Led by two goals from Julian Gonzalez, the DePauw men's soccer team defeated Franklin on Wednesday 4-0.

While Gonzalez scored to close the first half and again to start the second half, Justin Mitchell was credited with the game winner in the 13th minute. He shot just inside the edge of the box for the goal, off an assist from E.J. Moore. It was Mitchell's first goal of the season.

Gonzalez's first goal in the 19th minute came from about 10 yards out. His second, in the 51st minute, came off a penalty kick. Those were number four and five for him on the year.

Finally, Keaton Voegerl recorded his first collegiate goal in the 73rd minute.

Harrison Glover and Ben Davis combined for the shutout. Glover recorded the win in 78:18 with one save.

DePauw outshot the Grizzlies 17-6. They also took two corner kicks, while Franklin took none.

DePauw moves to 3-0-2. Franklin drops to 0-4-2.

The Tigers return to action Saturday when they host Centre.
