Cleveland, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference recently announced the All-NCAC teams and on it were seven players from the DePauw men's soccer team.
Junior Julian Gonzalez and senior Adrian Ables captured first team selections with Gonzalez making his second straight appearance and Ables making his first. Gonzalez finished the year with a team-high in goals (8) and points (20) while also adding four assists. Ables was second on the team with 18 points with six goals and six assists.
Seniors Chris Schoenfeld, Mitch Reavis and junior Zach Hoffman earned second team honors. Schoenfeld was an honorable mention last year, Reavis was one in 2013 and Hoffman makes his first appearance. Hoffman finished with six goals and three assists, and Mitch Reavis finished with three goals and four assists. Schoenfeld carried a defense that allowed 1.28 goals per game.
Earning honorable mentions were senior Alieu Musa and junior E.J. Moore. Musa had three goals and five assists, and Moore scored four goals and three assists on the year. Musa was a second team selection last year, while Moore earns his second straight honorable mention nod.
The Tigers are currently 11-3-4 and play Westminster (Mo.) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 7:30 p.m. CT Saturday on the campus of Washington St. Louis.
