Carl Haas Resigns as Men's Lacrosse Head Coach

Greencastle, Ind. - Carl Haas, DePauw head men's lacrosse coach, has announced his resignation to accept an assistant coaching position at another institution to be announced at a later date.

"Carl got our men's lacrosse program off the ground with continued growth each season," Stevie Baker-Watson, DePauw Associate Vice President for Campus Wellness and Theodore Katula Director of Athletics said.

"We wish him the best in this next step."

Haas came to DePauw in 2012 as the program's first head coach and directed the club team in its final year before the Tigers competed on the varsity level for the first time during the 2012-13 year.

In four seasons, Haas's teams compiled a 15-44 record and each year improved upon their North Coast Athletic Conference standing and win total.

DePauw will launch a national search for Haas's replacement.
