Kenosha, Wis.- The DePauw men's lacrosse team was defeated by the Red Men of Carthage College, 26-3, Saturday afternoon at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
With the victory, Carthage moves to 5-1 on the season, while DePauw drops to 2-2.
The Red Men were led by Timothy Francis with five goals, Jack Meachum with four goals and Billy Lane with four goals. 10 separate players found the back of the net for Carthage.
Carthage outshot the Tigers 55-18 and held a 39-25 edge on ground balls.
The Tigers committed seven penalties for 5:30 of penalty time, while the Red Men committed six penalties for 5:00 of penalty time.
DePauw is back in action Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. when they host Illinois Wesleyan.
