Tigers are Fifth after First Day of Parkside Spring Invitational

Columbus, Ind. - DePauw shot an opening-round 302 and is in fifth at the halfway point of the Parkside Spring Invitational hosted by University of Wisconsin-Parkside and played at Otter Creek Golf Club.

Indianapolis leads the 13-school field with a 293 followed by Bellarmine at 297, Wayne State with a 299 and St. Joseph's at 300.

Josh Krutchik paced the Tigers with a one-over, 73 to tie for sixth, while Andrew Derringer is tied for 10th with a 74. Jason Miller shot a 77 to tie for 31st followed by Quinn Smith in a tie for 41st at 78 and Jackson Mihevc in a tie for 51st with a 79.

Playing as an individual, Nick Burris is tied for 41st with a 78.

Graham McAree of Indianapolis leads the field with a two-under, 70.

The second and final round gets underway tomorrow morning.
