DePauw Tied for First at Midpoint of Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic

Danville, Ind. - DePauw shot a 306 and is tied for first with Birmingham-Southern after the first of two rounds of the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic at Twin Bridges Golf Club.

Quinn Smith opened with a 74 and is in third place, while Josh Krutchik is tied for eighth at 76. Evan Atkinson followed with a 77 with Jackson Mihevc shooting 79 and Andrew Derringer 81.

DePauw's "B" team shot a 314 and it in seventh as Sam Karcher shot a 76 followed by Jason Miller at 78 and Nick Burris at 79. Ryan White finished with an 81 and Ian Wright 84. Playing as an indvidual, Tim Graham shot a 76.

Denison's Knox Montgomery and Hanover's Tony Rogers share the individual lead at 73. Birmingham-Southern's Gunnar Raney recorded a hole-in-one on the par 3, 16th hole.
