Lattner Propels Second Half Surge in Come From Behind Win Over Kenyon

Gambier, Ohio -- Senior Luke Lattner scored all his 21 points in the second half and brought DePauw back from a 38-31 halftime deficit to defeat Kenyon 73-68 on Saturday.

Lattner was a quiet 0-for-3 in the first half before turning it around with a 6-of-12 second half, which included a 6-for-8 mark from the charity stripe and a 3-for-4 display from 3-point range.

DePauw took control following one of Lattner's 3-pointers at 12:12 to move ahead 50-48. Kenyon would later tie it at 68-68 with 46 seconds remaining, but DePauw would close the game going 5-of-6 from the foul line.

Lattner received plenty of help as three other Tigers also reached double figures. David Vogel scored 12 thanks to a 4-of-5 performance from 3-point range. Jack VandeMerkt scored 10 as did Andrew Kus, who made the start Saturday.

Nate Jahn added five points, seven rebounds and five assists.

DePauw outscored Kenyon 32-22 in the paint, but Kenyon outscored the Tigers off the bench 27-15. DePauw also scored nine points off of Kenyon's 10 turnovers.

The win pushes DePauw to 10-13 overall and 6-10 in the conference. They host Wabash on Wednesday.
