Four Tigers Named All-Region

Chandler, Ariz. – The Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCHA) recently named four DePauw student-athletes to Division III All-Region honors.

Junior Paige Berliner, junior Maddy Burds and sophomore Rose Revolinski all garnered first team honors while freshman Kate Milner was named to the second team.

They join 196 others as Division III All-Region selections. Ninety-nine student-athletes made first team and 97 made second team selections.

Berliner led the Tigers with 49 points and 21 goals. She also recorded seven assists.

Burds and Revolinski each tallied two goals, while Revolinski dished out six assists and Burds recorded three.

Milner, the NCAC Newcomer of the Year, was second on the team with 15 goals and 43 points and was first with 13 assists.

DePauw was one of 35 schools to place at least three student-athletes on All-Region Teams. Only DePauw and Centre collected four spots in the Great Lakes Region.

The Regional Players of the Year will be announced on Wednesday with the All-America squad coming out Dec. 6 and the National Player of the Year on Dec. 12.
