DePauw Goes for NCAC Title and NCAA Berth in 122nd Meeting with Wabash

GAME NOTES

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw wraps up the regular season this Saturday when it hosts Wabash College in the annual Monon Bell Game. The schools are meeting for the 122nd time on the gridiron and the 84th since the Monon Bell entered the rivalry in 1932.

Kickoff on Nick Mourouzis Field at Blackstock Stadium is set for 1:07 p.m. with the AXS TV national telecast getting underway at 1 p.m. AXS TV is available on DirecTV (340), DISH (167) as well as through local cable providers. Please note there is no online stream of the game. DePauw's WGRE (91.5 FM) will broadcast the game locally and online at wgre.org

DePauw, ranked 25th in the latest American Football Coaches Association Division III poll, is 8-1 overall and 7-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference after last Saturday's 53-0 win over Oberlin.

Wabash is 9-0 overall and 8-0 in the NCAC and ranked seventh in both the coaches' poll and by D3football.com. The Little Giants clinched a share of the NCAC title with last Saturday's 38-7 win over Denison.

The winner of Saturday's game will not only take possession of the Monon Bell for another year, but they'll also earn the NCAC's automatic qualification into the 32-team NCAA Division III Football Championship.
