DePauw Continues NCAC Title Quest at Blackstock on Saturday


Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw returns to Blackstock Stadium for the first of its final two regular season games when it hosts Oberlin this Saturday. Kickoff on Nick Mourouzis Field at Blackstock Stadium is set for 1 p.m. with a senior recognition taking place during the pregame.

The Tigers, 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference, are still in the hunt for a conference title. The Yeomen enter the contest with a 3-5 overall record including 3-4 in NCAC games.

The Tigers are coming off a 31-29 win at Denison which was decided with Marko Adams' 42-yard field goal with 2.5 seconds remaining.

Oberlin dropped a 62-2 decision at Wittenberg last Saturday. The Yeomen's wins have come over Kenyon, Allegheny and Wooster.

DePauw leads the all-time series 9-3-4 after last year's 54-14 win at Oberlin. The Tigers are 5-0-2 in games played in Greencastle including the 2013 meeting which DePauw won, 45-11. The teams first met on October 5, 1929, with the Tigers claiming a 7-0 win.
