Five Tigers on All-NCAC Teams

Two First Team honorees, one Second Team and two Honorable Mentions highlight the All North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball teams for DePauw.

Making his All-NCAC First Team debut is junior Jack Thompson, who hit .353 in conference play with 1 home run, 12 RBI and a .559 slugging percentage.

Junior Riley Futterknecht moves up to First Team after earning honorable mention laurels in 2014. In five conference starts, he was 3-1 with a 1.85 ERA and 31 strikeouts.

Junior Tate Stewart makes his first appearance on the All-NCAC Second Team. He also batted .353 in 19 conference games with 7 RBI and five doubles.

Earning Honorable Mentions for 2016 were senior pitcher Wyatt Spector and sophomore outfielder Collin Einertson. Spector, a Second Team mention in 2015, was 0-3 with a 6.14 ERA in five conference games and finished the year overall at 4-5 with a 3.35 ERA.

Einertson earns his first nod on the team after batting .329 in conference play with one home run and 11 RBI.

The Tigers finished 2016 with a 25-19 overall record and a 10-9 NCAC record, losing in the championship round of the NCAC Tournament.
