Greencastle, Ind. - Following their performances in DePauw's 65-0 North Coast Athletic Conference win at Kenyon, quarterback
Nathan McCahill (Sr., Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) and linebacker
Jonathan Bruder (Sr., Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) were selected to the
D3football.com Team of the Week.
McCahill broke DePauw's school record and tied the North Coast Athletic Conference record with seven touchdown passes in just three quarters against the Owls. He completed 26 of 37 passes for 482 yards which was the second-highest single-game total in program history. His 477 total yards also ranked second in school history. The Tigers totaled a school-record 537 passing yards in the win.
Bruder had 10 tackles, five of them solo, as DePauw held Kenyon to minus-4 yards overall and minus-51 rushing yards. He had a sack and forced a fumble on the DePauw 1-yard line to preserve the Tigers' shutout. The Tigers totaled a school record 13 sacks on the day.
The Tigers, ranked eighth in the latest coaches' poll and 10th by D3football.com, travels to Hiram on Saturday, Nov. 9, for a Noon game against the Terriers.
