Junior Keegan Kollias (volleyball) and freshman Shaili Kumar (women's soccer) were recently named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for their respective sport.
Kollias and the Tigers competed in the Baden Invitational at Washington University (Mo.) and finished 3-1, which included a 3-1 victory over the sixth-ranked Bears.
The junior setter finished the four-match weekend with 148 set assists, 37 digs and 17 kills. In the win over Washington she tallied 36 set assists and seven digs.
Kollias, who was named to the all-tournament team, also contributed six blocks and three service aces in 14 total sets over the weekend.
The freshman forward Kumar scored a pair of goals an added assist for five total points in two games this past weekend.
She scored her first collegiate goal and hit the game-winner in a 3-2 win overtime victory against Piedmont on Saturday. The next day, she scored again and added an assist in DePauw's 4-0 win over John Carroll.
Women's soccer returns to action Wednesday when they travel to Capital. The volleyball team competes in the Sommer Center Spiketacular next weekend in Bluffton, Ohio.
